75 industry guides

SEO for every industry: 75 sector guides built around how your customers search.

Search works differently for a plumber, a private dentist and a B2B software company. Buyers use different words, regulators limit different claims, and the page type that wins changes from sector to sector. Each guide below explains what ranks in that sector and what we would do first.

Syed leads the strategy and personally runs the technical and on-page SEO, with a remote crew handling link building, digital PR, social media and web builds. Start with your sector, or book a call if yours is not listed.

How sector SEO differs from generic SEO

Search intent changes by sector. Emergency trades are won in the map pack and on service-plus-town pages. High-consideration purchases such as solar panels, windows or pools are researched for weeks, so informational content decides who gets shortlisted. B2B software is won on comparison, integration and use-case pages that match how a buying committee evaluates a purchase.

Regulation changes what you can say. Law, finance, health and care sit in the “your money or your life” category, where Google looks harder for named authors, credentials and accurate claims, and where regulators and the advertising standards body limit what a page can promise. A page that ignores this can rank briefly and then lose ground.

Your competitors are different. Estate agents compete with portals, restaurants with booking platforms, tradespeople with lead-generation directories. The plan for beating a directory is not the plan for beating a rival firm, so each guide names the kind of competitor you are actually up against.

Prices are on the pricing page, with retainers from £950/month and one-off audits at £500. The broader SEO services hub covers the technical, on-page, off-page and AI search work that sits behind every sector plan.

Health, care and wellbeing

High-stakes searches from patients and families. Content needs clinical accuracy and visible credentials, and local profiles and reviews do a lot of the work of winning the first enquiry.

Home, trade and construction

Emergency and project searches are won in the map pack and on service-plus-town pages. Seasonality, call tracking and proof of work matter more than a polished brochure site.

Technology, B2B and e-commerce

Longer sales cycles and heavy category competition. Comparison and use-case content, product and technical architecture, and pipeline measurement decide results.

Do I need SEO that is specific to my industry?

Usually yes. The generic parts of SEO (a crawlable site, fast pages, clear titles) are the same everywhere, but the content that wins, the rules on what you can claim and the competitors you face all change by sector. A sector plan avoids spending months on tactics that suit a different kind of business.

My industry is not listed. Can you still help?

Yes. The guides cover the sectors we see most, but the same method applies elsewhere: work out how your customers search, who is ranking and why, then fix the technical foundations, build the right pages and earn credible links. Send a short brief or book a call and we will tell you honestly whether SEO is the right lever for your business.
