We keep placements indexed and monitor for changes for 90 days after delivery. If a publication deletes the post or the DR drops below the agreed band, we replace it at no extra cost.

Private blog networks are the oldest link shortcut and still the easiest to detect. Google has systematically deindexed most of the big PBN infrastructure in the last three years. Links from deindexed hosts carry zero weight and the association alone can drag down trust signals.
The last four core updates have progressively sharpened detection of AI-generated content. Bulk link services that place you on AI-spun host sites are selling you placements that will be devalued within a quarter. The unit economics are terrible even before you consider the penalty risk.
The £50 / 100 backlinks gig is automated tool output. You'll get a spreadsheet of links, most will be on scraper sites or comment spam, and the few that survive Google's spam filter will be on sites with no topical relevance. Net contribution to rankings: zero or negative.

On national digital PR placements we prefer dofollow but will not kill a Times or BBC-tier placement if the editor insists on nofollow, a nofollow link from a top-five UK newspaper still carries meaningful brand-authority signal and often drives referral traffic that pure ranking metrics miss.
We check every placement against Ahrefs Domain Rating at the time of delivery and include the live URL in our monthly report. If a placement drops below the agreed DR band within 90 days, we replace it.

DR 50+ campaigns run 4–6 weeks from kick-off. Digital PR campaigns (DR 70+ national media) run 6–10 weeks because genuine pitching takes time. We will not compress the timeline, rushed outreach reads as rushed outreach, and editors ignore it.
No honest operator can. We can commit to the DR band, the topical relevance, and the link type. The specific publications are dependent on editorial availability at the time of the campaign. Anyone guaranteeing a specific DR 80 site is either already paying the editor directly (which is against the guidelines of every major publication) or lying.
