Architecture lives in the CMS design
Collections determine URL patterns, template pages determine what every item contains, and reference fields determine how content interlinks: three decisions that shape whether a Webflow site can rank at scale. Good design gives clean hierarchical URLs, templates with genuinely variable content slots, and reference-driven internal linking that concentrates authority. Bad design produces rigid paths and identical templates that multiply thinness across hundreds of pages, and restructuring afterwards is the most common remediation we sell.
